I haven’t posted in a while cuz I was hoping to have a new layout up before I do. But… as you can see, there is no new layout. :( I really have no idea what to do. I’ll just wait till inspiration hits me… which hasn’t happened in a loooong time. I feel like this layout was sort of thrown together. Maybe when I go to Europe next month, I’ll be inspired! Speaking of Europe, Spain won the Euro cup!!! What a victory! I wanted to see Turkey in the finals. That would have been an incredible match! Can’t wait till World Cup 2010!

I’m back at home now. I came back about three weeks ago. I decided not to take the LSAT till October. I’m trying to study more during the summer and hopefully I’ll get a good score when I do take it. I Haven’t been doing much else here except watching movies. WALL-E was pretty cute. A somewhat horrifying view of what the future could be like, but the little robot is too adorable. I rented Paris, je t’aime yesterday. There were some cute segments (the Gurinder Chadha one), some touching ones (the Nigerian man part), and some just… truly bizarre (the hairdresser one). Overall I liked it and I really can’t wait to see Paris again for myself!

The strangest, most terrifying thing happened today. It was like a scene in a movie- completely unreal. I was walking across the street with my friends. And let me say this now- NEVER JAYWALK! The crosswalks are there for a reason. I hear one of my friends scream out my other friend’s name and out of the blue, a car runs into my other friend. My friend rolls onto the hood of the car, breaks the windshield with her head, and rolls down onto the ground. I could not believe what I was seeing. Luckily she was still conscious and the cops came pretty quickly. An ambulance took her to the emergency room. We waited there for a couple hours, but she turned out to be fine. Her leg took the brunt of it. It was a good thing she turned around when she heard her name or the injuries could have been worse. It was absolutely horrifying to witness it. She’s home now and we have to wake her every three hours to make sure she doesn’t slip into a coma. =/ It’s so scary to think what could have happened. Or how this could have been prevented. If we left the apartment one minute earlier or one minute later, or if we crossed at another section of the street…

It was supposed to be a fun day. :( Onto happier thoughts… I saw the Sex and the City movie last weekend. Abso-fabu-tastic! It was so much funnier than the show. I won’t spoil it for anyone but Carrie gets her own Cinderella moment. So sweet!

One last thing- BARACK OBAMA 2008!! I’m not sure if it would be a good idea for Hilary to get the VP nom. It could result in a clash of two very strong personalities. But yes, so happy it’s Obama!

Jack Sparrow and New Years

It’s 2007!! Happy New Year! :D I’m on break, relaxing at home. It feels so good to not have any school work to worry about. I can waste my entire day doing nothing if I want. I went out with friends last night. We went to a club for about two hours then a couple of them got bored and we spent the rest of the night watching Entourage. There was a guy at the club dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow counting down to the new year. He looked so much like Johnny Depp, only younger. The night wasn’t too eventful but fun nonetheless. I’ve been shopping like crazy since I got home. I have no money left. :( And I’m trying to save up for a trip to Europe this summer. I start working again when I get back to Boston. I don’t really want to go back. I want college to be over and real life to start. Anyway, I haven’t done much but shop lately. I saw The Holiday. It wasn’t bad but not too memorable. I watched POTC: Dead Man’s Chest for the first time last week and DAMN… Jack Sparrow… HOT! I totally get the sex appeal of Johnny Depp now. I haven’t made a lot of updates, I’ve been lazy. I got some brushes up on SAPPHIRE. The new year calls for a new layout, so expect one soon!

I’m back in Boston… yay. I had a great Thanksgiving break. Hope everyone else did too. I spent way too much over the weekend and now I think I’m broke again. :( I finally went to see Borat with my friends. I thought it was great though they could have done without the naked wrestling scene! Some people are calling it racist, sexist, etc. But it’s supposed to be a satire on American culture. The movie itself isn’t so shocking. It’s that the people in the movie actually harbor those racist, sexist, homophobic opinions and would actually say it in front of a camera when they thought they were being filmed for a documentary no one in this country will see. That’s what appalled me. Anyways, so yesterday my sister’s baby turtle died. He had a respiratory infection but he wouldn’t take the antibiotics or eat anything. Poor turtle. One update this time. I made a new wallpaper. Check it out.
