Only two comments on the last post? Oh well. I finally gave in to my bubble tea craving and got myself a large Tapioca Milk Tea from Lollicup. Mmmmm, I ADORE Lollicup! I made the mistake of walking to the supermarket today. It was 90-some degrees outside. But I needed to stock up on ramen, a must-have for all college students. I also got a vietnamese sandwich. I love all asian food. I’m really craving some dumplings and pad thai right now…

My classes are going well. My french prof. is so funny! French always ends up being my favorite class. Too bad I still can’t speak very well even after six years of it! I went to the first frat party of the semester last night. It was sooo crowded on account of all the freshmen. I saw hordes of little freshmen roaming around Boston trying to find a party, lol. Poor little lost freshmen! Rush for my sorority is starting soon. It’ll be busy, but at least it’ll give me something to do.

I can’t wait for work to start. My bank account is depleting… fast! I think I got my tutoring job back. They were really pissed at me last semester for quitting before the semester ended. I can understand why they’re mad but there wasn’t anything I could do about it, unless they were expecting me to fail all my classes.

Dorm life is going ok. I’m living in a hotel, if anyone missed this bit of info. My roommate’s pretty cool. She does her thing, I do mine. No problems there. I used the hotel’s laundry services last week. It cost almost twelve dollars! I’ll be doing my own laundry from now on. Room service is reasonably priced and is pretty good. So I can do that if I don’t feel like leaving my room. I’m so bored right now! But there’s nothing else to do but drink… and I already did that last night. Sigh.

Today was my first day of classes. Only had one today, a linguistics course. It’s pretty interesting and I think I’ll like it. Anyway, dorm life in a hotel is a bit of a struggle. There’s a shuttle that takes us to campus and that’s all good but food and laundry are harder. Last year there was a dining hall in my dorm so I just ate there whenever I was hungry. We get room service in the hotel for half price… but that’s still expensive! The hotel has laundry service but that’s expensive too. I’ll have to figure out something. =/ Anyways, I finally sorted out my icons and added a bunch of NewS icons. Also a new layout for the My Sassy Girl fanlisting. Please join!

Here I am in my dorm/hotel room. The hotel’s nice enough… but so far away from campus! I walked to the grocery store today. Big mistake. Now the corns on my feet have corns, lol. I’m so BORED! I almost wish classes would start already so it would give me something to do. My roommate hasn’t arrived yet. I’m still hoping we’ll get along ok. I like having a room all to myself. I can walk around naked if I wanted to… not that I want to. Geez, the guys next door are loud. One of them knocked on my door this morning/afternoon. I just got out of bed and probably scared him with how horrible I looked! He apologized for waking me and went away. Probably just wanted to meet the neighbors. I’ve been feeling anti-social lately. More so than usual. I don’t want to go to any more frat parties! Someone suggested that I hang out more at the frat house to get a guy. Umm… no thanks. No frat guys for me. They drink too much!

Currently I am obsessed with George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. I think I’m obsessed with the books even more than NewS, lol. I’m on the fourth book right now, just finished the third. I’m almost scared to start reading because after I finish this one, I’ll have to wait a couple months till the fifth one comes out! Now I know how Harry Potter fans feel! I love the Sansa/Sandor relationship. It’s so… Beauty and the Beast. But then again, Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie.
