I’m in Boston. My sorority installs party was tonight. It was ok. I got a bunch of gifts. I’m officially a sister now… yay. I skipped the after-party. It would not be good if I stumbled back into my aunt’s house drunk.

This whole week was messed up. I had no place to stay for the weekend. That was mostly my fault though. I thought I had a place but I shouldn’t have waited till the last minute to make sure. That’s something I need to work on this year. So I initially changed my flight to next weekend till I could move in to my dorm. But that idea pissed a bunch of people off so I changed the flight back to the original day. My aunt finally agreed to put me up for the weekend. Then I’m staying with one of the sisters till I can move in to my dorm on Wednesday. I hate not having my own place or a car here. I’m so helpless without a car! I have a roommate this year. This is gonna be the first time I have a real roommate. Hope she’ll be cool.

The weather back home was so messed up this week. There was a tornado in my area on Thursday. I just came out of the shower and the sky was all black! I thought all my windows were gonna break. I heard the tornado siren and ran downstairs to the basement. Nothing bad happened. My basement flooded. A bunch of flights in Chicago got delayed. I was stuck in a plane for two hours before we took off. It finally landed in Boston at 11:30 pm. That wasn’t so bad. Another sister got stuck in Chicago for two days because of delayed flights!

I wouldn’t mind spending another week at home. I really don’t feel like doing anything besides watching NewS. Damn J-Pop! It’s so addictive. I’ve turned into a stupid little fangirl. I thought that phase of my life ended with the Backstreet Boys in 6th grade, lol. I always get so sad when I leave home. It’s my comfort zone. I like doing new things but I always like going back to something comfortable. Classes start next week. Can’t wait…

Hi all! I’m back in Boston and the spring semester has started. Things are going really fast. My head’s spinning a bit. It’s so cold here right now. Not as cold as Chicago, as my mother informed me. I slipped on ice on my way back from work today and scraped my knee. Ouch! Now I get to wear a Spongebob bandaid. =] I love the kids I tutor though it’s kinda sad that they can all dance better than I can, haha! The BEARS lost the freakin SUPER BOWL last night! :sniff sniff: DAMN COLTS!! Moving on… I’m pledging for a sorority (I’m not supposed to be telling anyone but what are the chances of me ever meeting anyone who’s reading this?) and it seems so… overwhelming. There are so many rules to follow and it’s taking a lot of time out of my life. I hope I can juggle this and school work and my job at the same time. I really hope it’s worth it in the end. Eternal sisterhood sounds neat.

Wow, I still can’t believe it. As much as I disliked the Crocodile Hunter, this is just too sad. Imagine dying in some freak stingray attack. Rest in peace, Steve Irwin.

In other news, I’m back in Boston. Can’t say I’m too excited to be starting classes again. My new roommates seem alright… for now. Hopefully it won’t turn out like last year. That girl was a bit insane. She would make me lock the door whenever I left the room for 5 minutes… while she was still inside the room! My professors seem okay except for one who droned on for about an hour today. Still he seems like a nice guy. Guess what we talked about on the first day of French class?? The One and Only Zinedine Zidane!!! Generally, people agree that Materazzi sucks. I’m still looking for Soccer/Football t-shirts! I went to the zoo last weekend and saw a ton of Brazil shirts. Why can’t I find one?! I bought myself a Samsung 19″ HD TV online. Hopefully, it will ship here by next week. Gilmore Girls, Grey’s Anatomy… can’t wait! I blew off 200+ dollars on clothes last week. I got some cute shirts from Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters and Forever 21, all my favorite stores. Also got a supercute bag at Urban Outfitters for only $24! And a pair of flats from AE but they kinda hurt so I don’t think I’ll be wearing them all that much.
