I haven’t posted in a while cuz I was hoping to have a new layout up before I do. But… as you can see, there is no new layout.
I really have no idea what to do. I’ll just wait till inspiration hits me… which hasn’t happened in a loooong time. I feel like this layout was sort of thrown together. Maybe when I go to Europe next month, I’ll be inspired! Speaking of Europe, Spain won the Euro cup!!! What a victory! I wanted to see Turkey in the finals. That would have been an incredible match! Can’t wait till World Cup 2010!
I’m back at home now. I came back about three weeks ago. I decided not to take the LSAT till October. I’m trying to study more during the summer and hopefully I’ll get a good score when I do take it. I Haven’t been doing much else here except watching movies. WALL-E was pretty cute. A somewhat horrifying view of what the future could be like, but the little robot is too adorable. I rented Paris, je t’aime yesterday. There were some cute segments (the Gurinder Chadha one), some touching ones (the Nigerian man part), and some just… truly bizarre (the hairdresser one). Overall I liked it and I really can’t wait to see Paris again for myself!

Hi all! I’m back in Boston and the spring semester has started. Things are going really fast. My head’s spinning a bit. It’s so cold here right now. Not as cold as Chicago, as my mother informed me. I slipped on ice on my way back from work today and scraped my knee. Ouch!
Now I get to wear a Spongebob bandaid. =] I love the kids I tutor though it’s kinda sad that they can all dance better than I can, haha! The BEARS lost the freakin SUPER BOWL last night! :sniff sniff: DAMN COLTS!! Moving on… I’m pledging for a sorority (I’m not supposed to be telling anyone but what are the chances of me ever meeting anyone who’s reading this?) and it seems so… overwhelming. There are so many rules to follow and it’s taking a lot of time out of my life. I hope I can juggle this and school work and my job at the same time. I really hope it’s worth it in the end. Eternal sisterhood sounds neat.

It’s been five years already. I still remember everything that happened that day. I was a freshman in high school. One of my teachers said a plane had crashed. I thought, Planes crash all the time what’s so special about this? Then I found out in my next class. My biology teacher was hysterical because her parents were in New York and she couldn’t contact them. I still feel a little guilty because I laughed in that class before I found out that two planes had crashed into the Twin Towers. The rest of the day at school became quiter than usual. It wasn’t until I came home that I learned the towers had collapsed. My parents came home early from work and called our relatives in New York to make sure everyone was okay. I couldn’t really understand then that this day would shape our country for the next several years, probably decades.
In less important news, France beat Italy in the Euro 2008 Qualifier!!! That was an amazing 3-1 victory! It just makes me wish that we could’ve all seen Zizou hold up that cup again…
I had the worst morning today. I had jury duty but I couldn’t find the courthouse! Stupid mapquest gave me the wrong directions. So then I had to reschedule, uuggghhh. I really need to get started on homework. I’m so behind on the readings.

Well, the World Cup has come to a crushing end. For me at least. I really thought France had it. Then Zidane went and pulled that stunt. You broke my heart Zizou! The media is saying that Materazzi insulted Zidane with a racial slur. If that’s the case, I can totally relate to what Zidane must’ve been feeling when he headbutted Materazzi but Zidane should’ve had more class than that. He’s the captain. He needed to place his team above himself. Anyway, while I’m getting over my post-World Cup depression, I think I’ll go see POTC: Dead Man’s Chest tomorrow. And maybe The Devil Wears Prada later this week.
