I still don’t feel like blogging but I’ll do it anyway. Someone took the domain name enamored.nu! I’m so angry!! I should’ve bought it when I still had the chance. Oh well, I’ll think of a better, cooler name, lol! I got a new job in addition to my tutoring job and I start this week. It’s nothing too exciting, just putting info into databases. Pretty boring actually but it pays well and it’s on campus so I don’t have to travel. I’m taking a practice LSAT (the law school admissions exam) tomorrow. I’ve barely looked at the material. Wish me luck!

edit// I just checked again and enamored.nu is available! And I bought it! Now I just have to figure out what to do with it… lol.

I just thought of a new domain name- idyll. I still want a .nu but I’ll have plenty of time to decide on a name since I’m about 700 dollars in debt right now. Sigh. I get my first paycheck this week! I think it’s only about 7 dollars but money is still money, lol. Work officially starts next week. The school I’ll be tutoring at seems nice but it’s in the “ghetto” part of Boston. At least I won’t be walking home alone. There’ll be a couple of other girls there too. The first thing I’ll do when I get my first *real* paycheck is buy some new clothes. But I don’t want to do that till I get back into shape. I was finally content (not exactly happy yet) with my weight at the beginning of the summer but then I got really lazy and stopped working out. I was still okay when I left for school but now all I do is eat and sleep. It doesn’t help that I just ate two oatmeal raisin cookies… My line of thinking is I’ll get my money’s worth out of my dining hall meal plan and that leads to excessive eating. Damn the school for making me pay for a meal plan! Must get back into shape! One last thing- is it just me or did despair.nu disappear for a while?

I can’t believe summer’s almost over already. My friends have already left for school and I’m still here doing absolutely nothing. Well not exactly nothing. I’ve been working my ass off lately. I am now a waitress. I hate people who don’t tip well. I always give 20% or more even for average service. Waiting tables is a lot of work but the money’s pretty good. I need to get a tv for my dorm. Can’t wait till Gilmore Girls come on this season! I don’t think I’m ready to go back to Boston yet. I’ve just gotten comfortable settling into my old life these past few months and it’ll be weird to leave again. I’ll just come back to Chicago for graduate school I guess. For the donations, I ended up giving to CARE and IRC. Please donate to these organizations if you are able to. There are so many people in the world that need help right now. If you are not able to donate money right now at least read up on the situations in Congo, Darfur, and East and South Africa. One more thing – if anyone knows where in the US or on the internet I can find a France, Portugal, or Brazil National Football Team t-shirt, please, please let me know! I don’t really want jerseys, just t-shirts.
